SciFi and fantasy legends seem to be a topic you folks enjoy, so I had some more thoughts on Philip Jose Farmer. He is the author of two great series, The Riverworld and Dayworld. Both are worth reading and The Riverworld is spectacular. He also edited a series, The Dungeon, which I highly recommend. There were six books in the series, each by a different author (Charles de Lint, Richard Lupoff, Bruce Covielle, and Robin W. Baley). Charles de Lint fans take note. You may not know about this somewhat obscure work of his. If you are interested in reading some works of Farmer, Subterranean Press has recently released a nice collection of his short stories that gives a nice overview of his work. Feel free to comment on some of your favorites.
