Pan's Labyrinth

Hi everyone. I hope your January is going well. I wanted to take the time to highly recommend PAN'S LABYRINTH. This was an amazing dark fantasy film, however I feel I should warn you that this is not a film for young children. I was surprised by some of the intense violence in the movie. I think it is one of the best fantasy films I have seen in the past couple of years.
As far as books go, I am finishing up Cherie Priest's WINGS TO THE KINGDOM and then I plan to read, in no particular order, books by Tobias Buckell, John Scalzi, Brian Keene, and Elmore Leonard. What books are you folks reading? What good horror or sci fi films are you watching?
